Installation of Samsung’s S7.0-171 turbine is set to follow at Methi, in the park's Fife Renewables Innovation Centre.
Graham Construction is lead contractor on the project, which is due for completion by the end of the year.
The South Korean firm will have a 19-strong team who plan to test the demonstrator turbine in the waters off the energy park over the next five years.
If the 7MW turbine is successfully tested then they plan to develop a manufacturing facility in partnership with David Brown Gear Systems.
The building for the UK's National Renewable Energy Centre’s 15MW turbine nacelle test facility in Blyth, Northumberland, was completed earlier this year.
