Huby has been replaced by Arnaud Bellanger who was a vice president for purchasing in the nuclear division of the company.

Areva confirmed Huby had been replaced at the end of September but was unable to give further details about the reasons for his replacement.

Huby became CEO of Areva Wind in 2011. Prior to this he had been a senior vice president for strategy and mergers and acquisitions with Areva.
