Forewind consortium, the developer of the 9GW Dogger Bank round 3 wind farm, has signed a deal with RES for it to provide maintenance and project management for the two masts, after RES provided onshore testing and installation for the wind farm. RES will also procure vessels and subcontractors.
Dogger Bank is located in the North Sea, between 125 and 290 km off the east coast of Yorkshire, and its water depths range from 18 to 63 metres.
Planning approval for the first development at Dogger Bank, Creyke Beck, is expected in late 2014.
