Setback for Deepwater Wind's Block Island project

UNITED STATES: Opposition from local residents has forced Deepwater Wind to withdraw its proposal to run an electric transmission cable through the town of Narragansett in Rhode Island from its planned Block Island offshore demonstration wind project.
