Onshore tests at full output were recently completed in France. The offshore tests will be conducted at the Belwind ll wind project, 45km off the Belgian coast, targeting specific marine operations and procedures.
Work starts later this month with cable-laying timetabled for August. Weather permitting, the installation should be completed in September.
Alstom intends to start work on pre-production units of the Haliade 150 turbine next year.
