The Vents du Kempt (VdK) wind farm will have 43 turbines for an installed capacity of 101MW to supply energy to more than 10,000 homes by the end of 2014.

Leading German turbine manufacturer Enercon will be responsible for the erection and commissioning of the units, and their maintenance for 15 years. Enercon is supplying, for the first time outside Europe, its new-generation E-92 series turbines, which have a capacity of 2.35MW.
