The newspaper asked a mixture of head hunters, investors, stock market leaders and leadership experts to evaluate leaders of companies trading in the Copenhagen Stock Exchange's C20 index by answering the question: Has the company got the right boss?
On a 1-to-10 scale, Engel managed only 3.36, two whole points below the next man on the ladder. The top score, 9.27, went to Lars Rebien Sørensen, head of Novo Nordisk, a pharmaceuticals company.
Engel's low evaluation, comments the newspaper, is down to poor results and communication.
Last year, Engel was ranked the most influential figure in the wind industry by Windpower Monthly.
