An on-page translation function appears on every article, and users can now comment directly on articles or share them through social media.

Picture galleries and video give detailed visualisation of turbine models, wind technology and new wind projects. Presentation of indepth Special Reports, market status assessments on many countries and technical Close-Up features are all enhanced with better visibility.

Users viewing the site on smartphones or on tablets such as the iPad will also now have a much improved experience. Pages reconfigure themselves appropriately depending on a visitor's device and screen size.

The site will also include existing staples such as daily news bulletins, features and Windpower Monthly's searchable archive stretching back nearly 20 years.
