The order is for 175 2MW MM82 and MM92 turbines to go to the Rivière du Moulin wind farm in the Lac Pikauba and Lac Ministuk territories.
The deal is part of a 954MW supply agreement Repower and EDF made in 2009. The agreement, which included blade manufacturer LM Wind Power, comprised delivery of up to 954MW or blades for up to 477 wind turbines for five wind farm projects in Quebec, Canada.
Installation will take place in two phases. The first 150MW will be installed in 2013, with the second following in December 2014.
Speaking about the deal, Repower CEO Andreas Nauen said: "This contract is a milestone for Repower as it is our biggest to date."
Earlier this month, EDF EN announced brought 300MW of wind farms online in Quebec as part of a build programme to increase its installed capacity in the province to over 1GW by end-2015.
