FINLAND: Gear manufacturer Moventas has appointed Siemens senior consultant Niels Hammer as senior vice president for technology.

In his new role, Hammer will be responsible for research and development at Moventas centres in Finland and Germany. He will report to Moventas CEO Mikael Laine and be based in the German R&D office.
