The US firm will provide 43 turbines totalling 96.4MW to Turkish energy developer Fina Enerji for four new projects in western Turkey.

The announcement, made today at the first annual Turkish Wind Energy Congress, follows similar deals announced by Siemens and Vestas at the end of last month.

GE is supplying the following turbines the four Fina Enerji projects: nine 1.6-100 wind turbines for the Kizilcaterzi Wind Farm, 10 1.6-100 machines for the Karadere Wind Farm, 14 2.75-100 wind turbines for the Sadilli Wind Farm and 10 2.75-100 machines for the Salman Wind Farm.
