It is planned that another 11 Vestas V112 3MW turbines will be put into operation during the next few weeks, which will increase the capacity of the farm to 90 MW.

According to the company, another 110MW will be installed by the end of 2013. After reaching its full production capacity of 200MW, the Botievskaya wind farm will be able to produce about 686GWh of electricity per year.

The total volume of investments in the project is estimated at US$350 million. The Botievskaya wind farm is part of DTEK's Priazovsky wind farm, a large project in the Zaporizhia region with a total capacity of 550MW.

In April, DTEK handed Vestas a 200MW supply deal for the Priazovsky projects.
