The order was placed by a joint venture comprising construction company the Zaf Group and utilities provider Tefirom. It is Zaf's first wind project.
The turbines will go to the Senbuk wind farm in Hatay, southern Turkey. Delivery is set for Q1 2013 with the aim to commission by Q2. The contract includes a 10-year service agreement.
Tefirom Group CEO Tevfik Öz said: "The V112-3.0 MW is an excellent match for producing more energy from the same available wind. We believe that the V112-3.0 MW turbine will deliver an efficient energy production and, thus, a high return on investment."
Vestas' last deal in Turkey was for the 72MW from Ayen Enerji for a project in central Turkey, using V90 2MW turbines.
