Greater Gabbard is at the centre of a row between GGOWL and subcontractor Fluor. In April, GGWOL announced the counter-sue if its contractor Fluor over the quality of the project's monopiles.
Fluor claims GGOWL has carried out unnecessary testing and repairs to monopiles and transition pieces at the site. In Novemeber 2011, GGOWL said 52 out of 140 transition pieces are defective at the wind farm.
