Gamesa sells Polish project to RWE

POLAND: Gamesa has sold a 30MW wind farm in Poland to RWE Innogy, the third such deal between the two companies in the last 18 months.

The Taciewo project, locatedd in the Podlaskie region of north-east Poland, uses 15 G90 2MW turbines.

Last month, Gamesa sold the 14MW Krzecin wind farm located in the Western Pomeranian region of northeast Poland to RWE. In January 2011, Gamesa sold its 32MW Piecki wind farm in Poland to a consortium headed up by RWE.

As of end-June 2012, Gamesa had a wind portfolio in Poland of 786MW. Across the whole of eastern Europe the portfolio totals over 2.5GW.
