UNITED STATES: Vestas has won a 59MW order from Exelon Wind for a project in Michigan.

The Harvest II Wind Project in Huron County, in the east of the state will use 33 V100 1.8MW low wind-speed turbines.

The deal comes with a 10-year service agreement. Delivery is scheduled for mid-2012 with commissioning expected at the end of the year.

Exelon has a power purchase agreement in place with Consumers Energy.
