GE wins 70MW deal for France

FRANCE: GE has been handed a deal by Eolfi Asset Management to supply 28 2.5MW turbines.

The projects will use GE's 2.5MW turbine

The turbines will be supplied to two projects in the Aube area of Champagne-Ardennes, northern France.

14 turbines will go to the Quatre Vents project. The remaining 14 will be installed at a development near the village of Mont d’Arcis.

Stephan Ritter, general manager for GE’s Renewable Energy business in Europe said: "This contract with Eolfi Asset Management shows the importance of being a local player.

"With our newly opened service center earlier this year, we can provide operation and maintenance at a local level—close to our customer."
