Nordex will supply 20 of its N100/2500 2.5MW turbines to each of the wind farms. The projects will be located in Sindh province, southern Pakistan.

The wind farms are due to be built in 2012 and 2013.

The four developers are the Fauji Foundation, Gul Ahmed Energy, Metro Power Company and Yunus Energy.

Fauji Foundation, which is a charitable trust set up for ex-servicemen and their dependents, handed Nordex a 50MW deal last year.

Nordex CSO Lars Bondo Krogsgaard said: "Pakistan is the most important Asian market outside China for Nordex today. The fact that we were able to sign contracts with four customers at the same time shows that we are already a very trusted supplier there."
