The move follows the inauguration of Argentina’s biggest wind farm, the 77MW Rawson I&II project in Chubut province in the south of the country.
The project uses Vestas V90 turbines and was developed by Emgasud.
According to the latest Windpower Monthly Windicator, Argentina has a capacity of 30MW. There is substantially more in the pipeline following its recent 856MW tender.
