Repower Australia and Suzlon Energy Australia have been merged and will operate under the Repower Australia name.
In addition to selling both companies wind turbines, Repower Australia will offer engineer, procure and construct(EPC) services.
Repower Australia will be headed up by former Suzlon Australia CEO Dan Hansen.
Hansen said: "REpower Australia is now the largest EPC provider of wind power plants in Australia and provides a ‘one-stop shop’ solution for our customers."
The merger comes as Suzlon runs through the final stages of acquiring total control of Repower.
Last month, Repower shareholders passed a ‘squeeze out’ resolution allowing Suzlon to forcibly acquire the remaining 5% of shares it does not already own.
Repower also announced a restructure of its operations, which included plans to relocate the manufacturing of its popular 2MW turbine to Suzlon’s facility in Padubidri, India.
