Vestas to open new Singapore office

SINGAPORE: Vestas has announced plans to open a new office in Singapore.

The office, which will host a research and development facility, will employ around 200 people. Additionally, Vestas' Sales and Operations, IT and spare parts and repair divisions will be based at the new building.

Vestas' Asian-Pacific headquarters has been based in Singapore since 2006. The country will also be host to the 'Vestas Wind Forum', as part of Global Wind Day.

The theme of the forum will be "Clean and Safe Energy for Asia – Powering Wind Energy Development through Expertise in Singapore".
