Repower will supply 15 MM92 2MW turbines that have been enabled for cold weather conditions. They installed at two wind farms in the south of the province.

The projects are: Whispering Woods (10MW) and Ganaraska (20MW).

Speaking about the deal Wind Works' President and CEO Ingo Stuckmann said: "I was involved in ordering seventeen of these same windmills in 2007 and they are performing with over 98% technical availability. They are a proven and clean technology."

Canada has been a good hunting ground for Repower this year. In January, it won a contract with Saint-Laurent Énergies Consortium to supply 300MW for the Lac-Alfred wind farm project in the Gaspésie region. It will consist of 150 2MW turbines and is Repower’s largest Canadian project to date.
