Pedersen was Repower CEO between 2008 and July last year, when he was replaced by Siemens Wind Power CEO Andreas Nauen. When Nauen arrived, Pedersen moved sideways into the role of chief marketing officer.
Repower said that Pedersen, whose remit covered sales and marketing, and political risk, would not be replaced. His responsibilities would be taken on by Nauen.
Speaking about Pedersen’s departure, Nauen said: "Personally, I would like to thank him also for the excellent support he sent me after I took over as CEO in July 2010, which I really appreciate very much."
