Vestas wins 41MW Swedish deal

SWEDEN: Vestas has won a contract from RES subsidiary Nordisk Vindkraft to supply 41MW for a project in southern Sweden.

Vestas will deliver 23 V100 1.8MW turbines to the Amliden wind farm, Mala Municipality. The turbines are due to be delivered by December 2012. 

The deal includes a 15-year service agreement.

The Amliden project is 14km away from Nordisk Windkraft’s 44MW Ytterberg wind farm. The Ytterberg development is expected to be completed by the end of 2012 and will use Vestas V90 2MW turbines.
