UNITED STATES: EDF Energies Nouvelles subsidiary, enXco Inc., is planning a 200 MW wind farm in southeast Iowa through its own subsidiary, Power Partners Midwest.

AUSTRALIA: Owner Infigen Energy plans to expand its Lake Bonney wind farms in South Australia.

SWEDEN: Arise Windpower is to start construction on two of its wind farms, the 10.8 MW Blekhem wind farm in Västervik, and the Södra Kärra wind farm in the municipality of Askersund.

UK: Ecotricity has submitted the planning permission for the Black Ditch wind farm to the Sedgemoor District Council.

AUSTRALIA: All planned legal action against WestWind's 321 MW Moorabool wind farm in Victoria, which was approved at the end of the previous government's term, has been dropped.

TURKEY: BayernLB is to provide €26 million in financing for 16-years for the 30 MW Seyitali-Aliaga wind farm in the province of Izmir in northwest Turkey.

UNITED STATES: Duke Energy has secured $231 million in financing for its 200 MW Top of the World wind farm near Casper, Converse County, Wyoming.

CHINA: Jilin Power Share plans to acquire cent percent equity stakes in Mengdong Xiehe Zhenlai First Wind Power and Mengdong Xiehe Zhenlai Second Wind Power from Mengdong Xiehe New Energy.
