UK: Partnerships for Renewables (PfR) has submitted plans for a wind farm at a former landfill site at Forthbank in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland, amid opposition from local residents.
UNITED STATES: Idaho Power Company is seeking approval from the Idaho Public Utilities Commission for six wind farms to enter into 20-year sales agreements with the utility company.

UNITED STATES: Nordex USA has received an order for a 75 MW project using N100 wind turbines from EverPower Wind Holdings, Inc.
GERMANY: Wind energy company Bard Offshore has recently contracted BLG Logistics Group to transport 16 wind tower components from Bremen to Cuxhaven which will eventually end at the company's Bard Offshore 1 wind farm, located northwest of Borkum in Germany.
NEW ZEALAND: Firth Industries is to supply concrete foundations for Trustpower’s 36 MW Puke Kapo Hau wind farm near Lake Mahinerangi, 55kms west of Dunedin.

ISRAEL: An Israeli investments company Multimatrix Ltd. will invest NIS 80 million on the Golan wind farm.
GERMANY: Wind Works Power has obtained 10 million Euro project financing for the first phase its two-phase 10 MW Burg wind farm which is located near Magdeburg in eastern Germany.
IRELAND: Energia (of the Viridian Group) has negotiated a €48 million debt facility with Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of Ireland and National Australia Bank to help finance the expansion of its wind farm operations.
CHINA: China Suntien Green Energy (controlled by Hebei Construction Investment New Energy) has registered its 49.5 MW Kangbao Sanxiatian wind farm with the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).
