The contract is for 21 Repower MM82 turbines. 12 of these will be located on the Hyndburn wind farm in Lancashire, while the remainder will go to the Withernwick project in Yorkshire.
The MM82 has been designed for areas with high wind speeds.
Construction of the Hyndburn and Withernwick projects is set for the latter half of 2011 and the first half of 2012, respectively.
Energiekontor has built 74 wind projects to date, with a combined capacity of 500MW.
