In a statement to Portugal's stock market regulator CMVM, EDPR said the wind farm, which is in the PJM Interconnection transmission area, should be fully commissioned by 2011.
EDPR was unable to reveal the name of the wind farm. However, the only 99MW project it has under construction in the PJM area is the Meadow Lake IV development.
The company also noted it has signed 385MW in long-term contracts during 2010.
In the USA, EDPR is focusing its growth and expects to install 0.2 GW annually in 2011 and 2012.
