This is the fifth order Suzlon has taken from Malpani, which has interests in a variety of sectors in addition to wind energy including leisure, real estate, transport. The company owns 46.85MW of projects in India
The order comprises of eight S88 2.1MW and two S82 1.5MW wind turbines to be commissioned in the states of Karnataka and Maharashtra respectively.
The contract follows last week's announcement of an order from Hindustan Petroleum (HCPL) for Suzlon to build a 25.5MW wind farm in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
