PORTUGAL: Iberwind, a wind energy company controlled by private equity firm Magnum Capital, will invest EUR13 million this year in the overhaul of its Lagoa Funda wind farm, in Vila do Bispo in Portugal's Algarve region.

It has been operational since 1998, and is one of the oldest projects in Iberwind's portfolio. The wind farm has capacity of 9MW, distributed over 18 Mitsubishi turbines. It will have a capacity of 12MW when the work is completed by mid-2011.
