Wind Wire: Wind farm wins its first permit for build

SERBIA: Italy's Fintel Energia Group, through its Serbian subsidiary MK-Fintel Wind, has received an energy permit from the Serbian Ministry of Mining and Energy, for the 117MW Kosava wind park in the Vrsac area.

To complete the authorisation process, Fintel now needs to obtain, among other things, the construction permit and use permit. Under Serbian law, it will also be required to undertake an environmental impact study. The company has already signed land leases and has entered into an interconnection agreement with EMS, the organisation that is responsible for the national electricity transmission system.
