During the research for this year's Offshore Cables Forum, past delegates requested a more interactive program in order to get to grips with all the hottest issues concerning the offshore cable industry. In the hopes of fostering an open and honest atmosphere we have included several panel sessions, case studies and networking sessions. This will allow plenty of time for digging deep into the key challenges currently being faced. This years event is focused around sharing project experiences and lessons learned in areas such as cable installation/burial, fault location and detection as well as repair. The second day will cover best practice on cable design and testing to lower costs and improve supply chains as well as a discussion on the move to 66kv and supply chain issues.
There has been a strong message from the industry that experience and knowledge needs to been shared in order to limit downtime and costly repairs in the future. Therefore I would encourage you to make make the most of the time afforded to you by getting straight to the heart of what message you want to convey to our community of wind professionals. The event program is a reflection of the research carried out as well as your input as a participant so let us make it the most informative experience we can!
Developers, cable installers, cable manufacturers, wind farm owners and operators, utilities and service providers, vessel operators, grid connectors and consultants. Attendees may have these following job titles although the list is not exhaustive:

If you would like to discuss your speaking session in more detail before the event, please arrange a convenient time with Dominic Coyne. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time and send us your slides (if applicable) in advance as well as bringing a copy on a USB just in case.
If you are showing slides in your session, please send them to Eileen Muir by Tuesday 15 March. Please ensure that your slides are in 16:9 format ratio. If you wish to use video or audio files, please provide these as separate files for the on-site AV team.
There will be evaluation forms circulating on the day on which delegates will score and chart their thoughts on your session. You will be sent your scores after the event, once all of the forms have been collated and analysed. Please also complete one yourself to let us know your thoughts on the event.
