Jan Dodd started out working for the British Council in London before moving to Hong Kong and then Japan. On her return to Europe she put this experience to use as a guidebook writer and, in 2003, began writing for Windpower Monthly, covering France and a number of Mediterranean-rim countries, plus Africa and the Middle East.
