The company has completed wind farms in Nurlu (8MW) in Picardy, Grande Place (12MW) and Pleugriffet (10MW) in Brittany, and Trayes (10MW) in Poitou-Clarentes. All five wind farms use Gamesa G90 2MW wind turbines.

Iberdrola completed its first French wind farm in 2006. The company also bought the two developments -- Kergrist (19.7 MW) and at La Butte de Fraus (12 MW), both in the Morbihan département of southern Brittany -- from Germany's P&T Technologie in 2005.

Outside of its Spanish home market, Iberdrola has its second largest presence in France with 30 wind farms producing 275MW.
