Energy Storage is no longer just potential, the projects are happening and the benefits are real. Wind & Solar among other intermittent power generation will make up a large proportion of the future energy framework of the World and not just the UK. With that in mind it is important to utilise the benefits of storage with renewables to ensure that their place remains at forefront on the energy focus going forward. During the research, our community requested a mixture of case study presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities to ensure no stone is left unturned and all stakeholder views are heard. The industry made it clear that we must address the challenges of the energy storage market properly as it is still in its infancy. There is a real chance to revolutionise the energy network as a whole and benefit from the application of energy storage to the renewables industry. As there is so much to discuss please keep information about your company background to a bare minimum and get straight into the detail of your talk so both you and the delegates can get the most out of your time.
The producer of the event has spent months speaking directly with professionals from the Wind, Solar and Energy Storage Industries to identify the most problematic areas concerning the use of energy storage within renewables. The event programme is a reflection of that research combined with the input of our steering committee and our speakers.
We expect the event to mainly attract delegates with the following job titles (this list is not exhaustive):
Business Development Manager, Energy Manager, Project developer, Head of Energy Storage, Head of Innovation/R&D, Policy Adviser, Project Manager/Analyst/Director, Technical Manager, Chairman, CEO, CTO, Technical Director, Vice President and CFO
From mainly these industry sectors:
Developers/Owner Operators, Utilities, OEMs/Battery Manufacturers, Energy Aggregators & Service providers, Legal/Financiers/Insurance, Policy and Framework Providers, Consultants
If you would like to discuss your speaking session in more detail before the event, please arrange a convenient time with Dominic Coyne. On the day, the Event Manager and/or Event Producer will meet with you during registration/the break before your session to brief you and ensure you are all set. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time and send us your slides (if applicable) in advance as well as bringing a copy on a USB just in case.
If you are showing slides in your session, please send them to Abbie Bowden by Tuesday 16 May . Please ensure that your slides are in 16:9 format ratio. If you wish to use video or audio files, please provide these as separate files for the on-site AV technician.
There will be evaluation forms circulating on the day on which delegates will score and chart their thoughts on your session. You will be sent your scores after the event, once all of the forms have been collated and analysed. Please also complete one yourself to let us know your thoughts on the event.
Please send all items to Abbie Bowden by the deadline date.
