It’s highly appropriate that my new appointment coincides with the important climate change talks in Copenhagen, as urgent progress on the UK’s renewable energy targets is essential if the UK is to retain a leadership position in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, said Matt. Recent divestments in Canada mean Cornwall Light and Power has some £50 million to invest in its UK onshore wind business, so is looking to accelerate growth, both organically and through acquisition or partnership.
