Holland's "offshore" wind farm in the Dutch IJsselmeer is performing better than expected. In its first nine months, the project's four 500 kW turbines produced 3.5 million kWh, 90% of the expected yearly production. The NedWind turbines have operated at all times the wind speed has been above 6 m/s.
