First plant for Italian-owned Erelis

French developer and owner-operator Erelis, now owned by Italy's Enel (Windpower Monthly, November 2007), should bring its first wind power project on line this month with the completion of its 8.1 MW installation at Pleyber-Christ in Finistère, Brittany, powered by eight Enercon 900 kW turbines. Next up for the company is an 8 MW plant nearby at Leign Ar Gasprenn, due for completion this summer, followed by another 68 MW in north and central France coming on stream in 2009.
