Do your homework

Regarding "Net Metering -- A real World Approach" (Windpower Monthly, February 2000). You mention that most manufactures are moving away from production of small scale turbines. You forgot the Lagerwey wind turbines where you can still order as small as 80 kW turbines very suitable for small scale projects or stand alone systems.

Your article on net metering (Windpower Monthly, February 2000) mentions that most manufactures are moving away from production of small scale turbines. While that may be true, you forgot the Lagerwey wind turbines where you can still order as small as 80 kW turbines very suitable for small scale projects or stand alone systems. These turbines, now with 20 years of operating history are still being sold with small improvements to them.

My point is that you should do your home work and be more objective. Your article is good, but would be even better with more background.
