Construction of Walloon 7.5 MW for new credit trading market

Construction has started of a 7.5 MW wind plant at Saint-Ode in the Walloon region. It will be the largest wind farm in French speaking Belgium, reports DeWind. It is supplying the 1.25 MW turbines to project developer, The Renewable Power Company, which already operates a wind plant of DeWind turbines in Luxembourg. Belgium's green power credit market (Windpower Monthly, November 2002) has opened up new market opportunities, says DeWind's Hugo Schippmann. DeWind is part of Britain's FKI group of companies.
