The world's largest trade fair for wind energy systems is moving from the coastal town of Husum to the German trade fair metropolis, Hannover, reports the organising company, Husum Messe, also based in Hannover. The wind fair is to be included under the Energy and Environment Technology sub-section at the Hannover Messe 95, to take place April 3-8, 1995. One hall at the Hannover Messe is to be reserved for wind energy and other renewables. Martin Lawrenz from Husum Messe comments: "The move from Husum to Hannover symbolises the increase in importance of wind energy, opening up new markets both national and international to wind energy system manufacturers."
