UK's third offshore plant at Kentish Flats now online

The UK's third offshore wind farm has started feeding electricity to the grid. The 30 Vestas 3 MW wind turbines at Kentish Flats in the mouth of the Thames are currently undergoing final commissioning. According to Nils Møller Jensen from project owners Elsam, progress in building the 90 MW project has been good and all the turbines were on schedule to be operational by the end of August.
