Southwest Windpower sold about 5000 300 W turbines, Conference Digest

Southwest Windpower is selling about 550 small turbines monthly, the Tuscon-based company said at Windpower '96. Indeed during the last 18 months, it has sold about 5000 300 W turbines, said founder David Calley. This so-called "Air" model, which has a three-year warranty, is now installed in every country in Europe, estimated sales manager Andy Kruse. It is typically used at remote sites, on sail-boats or for telecommunications.
