Italian energy giant Enel has opened three new European offices in the past month in Lisbon, Paris and Bucharest to pursue its renewable energy business. The company's Patrick Haillot says the group expects to invest some EUR 1 billion over the next four years in renewables -- mainly in Spain. As well as southern and eastern Europe, Enel is also active in the US and Central America.
