German wind developer P&T Technology establishes French subsidiary

P&T Technology, a German wind plant developer, has set up a subsidiary in France at Rennes. It has plans for an initial four projects totalling 20 MW and worth EUR 25 million, with work to begin in 2003. A further 16 projects totalling 75 MW are envisaged. All these wind farms are in Normandy and Brittany. P&T is active in Greece, Italy and Spain and says it has been lured to France by the favourable market conditions created by last year's decree creating a feed in tariff system for wind energy.
