Repower has signed a framework agreement to supply 84 of its 2 MW turbines to Eolfi, a French developer and operator now owned 50% by the France-based global environmental services company Veolia Environnement. The machines are for delivery to projects in France in 2009 and 2010. The deal follows an agreement in 2007 between the two companies for 41, 2 MW units. Eolfi has 53 MW turning and 367 MW under development in France, of which next on line will be its 10 MW Monts Bergerons I installation in the north-westerly Somme département, slated for completion in April.
