Gamesa to supply 295 MW to Longyuan Electric Power Group

China's top wind power developer, Longyuan Electric Power Group, has placed orders with Spain's Gamesa for 295 MW of wind turbines for supply in 2009. The 347 Gamesa 850 kW units are to be manufactured at the company's Chinese factory in Tianjin, for shipment to projects in various provinces. The order includes wind farm commissioning and two years of operation and maintenance. It brings Gamesa's cumulative orders from Longyuan to 336 MW.
