Bat kills a sudden major problem

Scientists are describing as "alarming" a large number of bat kills over a period of weeks at a wind farm in the United States. The wind industry is being called upon to accept responsibility for the sudden problem and help deal with it. Wildlife problems are also emerging at a US project under construction, with official warnings that bald eagles, golden eagles and endangered bat species are at risk.
