Hitachi considers German co-operation

The president of Hitachi Engineering and Services, Seizo Nakano, visited the Enercon turbine manufacturing facility in Germany in early June to discuss future co-operation of the two companies on the Japanese islands, Enercon reports. Eight Enercon turbines of various sizes are already turning in Japan and four more are to follow this year. In 2000, five Enercon E66 machines are to be delivered to the Japanese Electric Power Development Corporation for installation on Hokkaido, Enercon adds.
