Rotor blade manufacturer LM Glasfiber is opening a tenth factory in Denmark where it expects to employ 40 new staff. The company's Troels Thomsen says LM's voracious demand for production capacity is a reflection of the company's growth in sales. Last year blades were supplied for 340 MW of wind power, some 47% of all wind turbines installed in 1994. The new factory is at Taulov near Fredericia on the mid Jutland east coast.
